Build your Mini App step by step

  1. Open Mini Agent and start a chat

Mini Agent is the AI builder inside Mini Empire. Connect a bot (paste its BotFather token, or let Mini Empire create one for you), choose the Build with AI card, the recommended one, and finish with Start building with AI. You land in an empty chat that asks what you are building. Mini Agent also has its own bot in Telegram, with the same bots, chats and credits. New accounts start with 100 free AI credits.

  2. Ask for one small thing, and only that

This is the whole method in one sentence: ask for ONE specific change, check it live, fix it if needed, then move on. Do not describe the finished product. Start with the smallest slice that already looks like an app, such as “a home screen for my coffee shop with a loyalty card of 10 empty stamp slots”. Small requests come back faster, are easy to check and spend fewer credits.

If you catch yourself typing “and also…”, stop. That second idea is your next message.

  3. Give every task its own chat

Each bot can have many chats, and each chat is a separate conversation with the AI. Use one per task: the look of the home screen, the prizes admin, the texts. A short, focused chat keeps the AI from mixing things up. When a chat gets long, Mini Agent itself suggests a new one: it is cheaper and more accurate, and it sees the app exactly as it is now. Tap + at the end of the tabs, or the pen icon at the top.

  4. Show it how the app should look

Build the look first and the function later. If you can picture the app, make a few screens with another AI: ask ChatGPT or Gemini for something like “three phone screens, dark theme, for a coffee-shop loyalty app: home with a stamp card, prizes, profile”. Then tap the paperclip, attach the images and say what to do with them: “Use these as the design. Build only the home screen for now.” Mini Agent reads the pictures and designs from them.

  5. Bring your own artwork

Mini Agent draws with vectors and CSS, so icons, shapes, gradients and simple illustrations come out crisp. It cannot paint photographs or realistic 3D art. For that, make the pieces (a stamp icon, a card background, a mascot) in ChatGPT or Gemini and bring them in. Ask for an admin screen with an upload button, such as “Add an admin screen where I can upload the stamp icon and the card background, and use them in the app”, or attach the picture in the chat and ask Mini Agent to use it. Uploaded images are stored by the platform: PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 3 MB each.

  6. Open the app and check every change

After each answer, look at the app before asking for more. When the top bar says “changes not published”, a Publish bar appears: while the app has no users yet, publishing early is safe, it is one tap and it costs no credits. Then tap the green ▶ (Open your bot), press the Open button in the chat and look at the app on your phone the way a user will. Something off? It turns green when the card has 10 stamps and says how many are missing before that.” Describe what the person sees and what should happen; Mini Agent takes care of saving the data behind it. 12. Work in several chats at the same time

As the app grows, give every task its own chat and let them work in parallel: one polishing the card, another building the prizes admin, a third rewriting the texts. A spinner on a tab means that chat is working; a dot means it finished while you were looking elsewhere, and the app tells you when it does. Up to three chats work at once, and chats that touch the same part of the app wait for their turn, so give each a different area.

  13. Test, fix, repeat: show the problem

Testing is part of every step, not a chore for the end. When something looks wrong, or a flow breaks, do not write a long description. Take a screenshot of the app (or of the bot’s chat), tap the paperclip, attach it and add one line of what you expected: “The Buy button does nothing here. Then open the app and check again.

Open Mini Agent, the AI builder inside Mini Empire, and build the app in small steps: ask for ONE change, look at it in your bot, fix it, then ask for the next. Design the look first (reference screens from ChatGPT or Gemini help), then give each screen its job, add an admin panel for whatever you manage, and publish with one tap. Keep one chat per task, and when something breaks, attach a screenshot and one line of what you expected. Small asks keep the AI focused and the credits low.

Mini Agent is the AI builder inside Mini Empire. You tell it what you want in your own words; it builds the screens and the logic behind them, tests the app on a phone-sized screen and leaves a draft that goes live with one tap.

Ask for one change, look at it in your bot, fix what is off, then ask for the next. Short chats keep the cost and the confusion low.

Credits pay for the AI’s answers. Undo, versions and Publish do not use the AI. Mini Agent draws vector and CSS graphics but does not create photographs or realistic art: bring your own.

Why small steps beat one big prompt

An AI builder is at its best when the next move is obvious. Ask for a single screen and it has everything it needs: you can read the result in seconds, tell whether it is right and say precisely what to change. Ask for a whole product in one message and you get a large, tangled draft where the first mistake hides behind ten correct things.

Cost follows the same logic. Every answer spends credits, and a long chat that keeps growing makes each answer heavier. Short, single-purpose chats and one-change messages keep both the bill and the confusion small. Mini Agent even nudges you: in a long chat it suggests a new one, because a fresh chat is cheaper and more accurate and still sees the app as it is now.

What Mini Agent builds, and what to bring yourself

Mini Agent reads the images you attach, so a reference screen, a sketch or a screenshot is often the fastest way to say “like this” or “not like this”. It cannot paint pictures of its own, which is why artwork enters the app through an upload screen or the paperclip.

Prompts that work: small, specific, one at a time

A good message names one thing the person will see or do. You do not need technical words; you need the result you expect. When the result is wrong, the best correction is a picture.

The habit that saves the most credits: show, do not describe

Screenshots are not only for the design. The moment something looks wrong, a flow stops half way or the bot answers oddly, take a screenshot of the app or of the bot’s chat, attach it with the paperclip and add one line: what you expected. Mini Agent sees exactly what you see, so it skips the guessing that a long description invites.

Two small rules make it work. Keep to one problem per screenshot, and say the expected result rather than the technical cause. “It should open the payment” is better than a theory about why it does not.

Credits: how to keep the cost low

  • Ask for one change per message: a small request is a small answer.
  • Use one chat per task, and start a new chat when Mini Agent suggests it.
  • Read the estimate on a plan card before you tap Build it, and keep the spending cap it proposes.
  • Check each change in your bot before asking for the next, so a mistake costs one answer rather than ten.
  • Attach a screenshot when something breaks instead of writing a long explanation.
  • Use Undo last change, Publish and version restore freely: they do not use the AI, so they cost no credits.
  • New accounts start with 100 free credits, so you can try the method before you buy any.

Mistakes that make AI-built apps feel unfinished

  • Describing the entire product in the first message.
  • Using one endless chat for everything.
  • Skipping the look and asking for features first, then redesigning around them.
  • Asking for “realistic” images instead of bringing your own artwork.
  • Forgetting the admin side, so every price or text change needs the AI again.
  • Describing a bug in a paragraph instead of attaching a screenshot.
  • Publishing to real users without opening the app once on a phone.
  • Letting two chats edit the same screen at the same time.

A last check before you invite anyone

  • Open the app from a second Telegram account, not only the owner account.
  • Confirm the admin screens are hidden from that second account.
  • Read every text as a stranger would and replace placeholders with real wording.
  • Try a small phone screen and both light and dark themes.
  • Complete the main action from start to finish.
  • Close Telegram, reopen the app and confirm the data is still there.

Common questions

Can I build a Telegram Mini App with AI without knowing how to code?

Yes. With Mini Agent you describe the app in your own words and it writes, tests and saves the app for you. You still make the decisions: what each screen shows, what the buttons do and what the texts say.

How many credits does a Mini App cost?

It depends on how big the app is and how many changes you make, so there is no fixed price. New accounts start with 100 free credits, a plan card shows an estimate before any big job, and small one-change requests spend the least.

Do I need a BotFather token?

Not necessarily. You can paste the token of a bot you created with BotFather, or let Mini Empire create a new bot for you. A bot created that way shows a note on its profile saying it was created and managed by the platform.

Can I use images from ChatGPT or Gemini?

Yes. Attach reference screens in the chat so Mini Agent can design from them, and bring generated artwork in through an admin upload screen or by attaching it (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 3 MB each for uploads). Mini Agent draws vector and CSS graphics but cannot create photographs.

How do I tell Mini Agent that something is broken?

Take a screenshot of the app or of the bot’s chat, attach it with the paperclip and add one line of what you expected, for example “The Buy button does nothing here. It should open the payment.” It sees what you see and fixes the right thing.

What if the AI breaks something?

Open the clock icon in the top bar: Undo last change reverts the latest edit and every earlier version can be restored. Neither uses the AI or costs credits, and your users keep seeing the published version until you publish again.

Can I add an admin panel to my AI-built Mini App?

Yes. Ask for an admin screen for the thing you manage, such as prizes, prices or texts. It is shown only to you as the owner and to admins you set; regular users do not see it.

How is this different from Mini Empire’s ready-made Mini App templates?

The ready-made templates are prepared products, such as airdrops, mining and games, that you configure. Mini Agent builds a custom app from your description. Both live in the same Mini Empire account, so you can use either for different projects.
